I first met Ryan and Kristine through her father who is the owner of one of my favorite places to eat in Bethlehem, Hometown Heroes. If you’ve never been there, I highly recommend it, and we may even run into each other! The wedding day started with rain and clouds while the girls were getting their hair and makeup done at the Salon on Washington. Just as Kristine was getting her hair done, the clouds started to disappear and the sun came out just in time for the celebrations to start. After the bridesmaids put on their dresses at the Renaissance Hotel, we made our way over to the Linderman Library at Lehigh where Ryan would see his bride-to-be for the first time. As she made her way up the spiral staircase, you could see the anticipation building on his face. She touched him on the shoulder, and he greeted her with a kiss. Their ceremony was held in Packer Memorial Chapel, a beautiful building with intricate woodwork and colorful stained glass.
After the ceremony, we headed down to the ArtsWalk in Allentown for a photo session in the hidden away gardens and colorfully painted backdrops. If you didn’t know about this part of Allentown, you would easily miss it. Following the wedding party photos, the newlyweds made their grand entrance at Allentown Brew Works. All of the guests enjoyed an excellent menu, and danced the night away while DJ Freddie Frederick Jr kept the party going.
