Nick and Laura’s Intimate Wedding at the Sayre Mansion
Nick reached out to me a little while back to do engagement photos. . . as he proposed to Laura. Something I had never done, but I was excited to do it because that was an amazing moment to capture. My wife and I went out “to shoot around at the Steel Stacks” as Nick and Laura walked around. Suddenly, Nick dropped down on one knee to “get something out of his camera bag” and popped the question. She had no clue that he was going to propose, or that there was a whole group of people waiting for them underneath the trestle to celebrate.
Fast forward to April of this year, they celebrated their love with an intimate wedding at the Sayre Mansion in Bethlehem with their son, daughters, and family. Nick and the groomsmen relaxed in the carriage house after nice fresh straight razor shave while Laura and the girls had their hair and makeup done in the conservatory. Despite the unseasonable weather, it was a beautiful wedding with lots of love and laughter. After their first dance by the fire, we were able to sneak outside for some photos with the colorfully lit Steel Stacks as a backdrop. Following a nice dinner in the Asa Packer dining room and a little cake smashing, we finished off the evening with a romantic photo session in the conservatory.
